(M-F)Telephone: (504) 286-5198Located on SUNO’s Park Campus, the Intramural Sports Program (ISP) offersstudents the opportunity to participate in a variety of intramural sportsactivities in an unstructured and leisurely manner. Involvement in intramuralsports enables students to make constructive use of leisure time, enrich collegiateco-curricular experience, develop team and individual growth skills.The Intramural Sports Program includes:Men Women Co-RecBasketball Volleyball VolleyballVolleyball Basketball AerobicsSoftballTeams participate in regularly scheduled games with the <strong>University</strong> of <strong>New</strong><strong>Orleans</strong> (UNO) and Open League Tournaments. Teams also enter in TheLouisiana Collegiate Intramural-Recreational Sports Association (LCIRSA)and the State Championship Tournaments each year.A combined total of eight national and state championships have been wonby the Men’s Flag Football, Basketball and the Women’s Volleyball Teamsin past years.<strong>Student</strong>s interested in participating should contact the Intramural Sports Programoffice (504) 286-5198 to register for the sports program (s) of theirchoice. Funding for the Intramural Sports Program is generated from studentassessed fees which are included in each student’s tuition at the time of enrollment.The program is governed by the rules and regulations of the Louisiana CollegiateIntramural - Recreational Sports Association (LCIRSA), of whichSUNO is a fully accredited member.41
