Disorderly Conduct or AssemblyA. No person shall assemble on campus for the purpose of causing a riot,destruction of property, or a disorderly diversion, which interfereswith the normal operation of the <strong>University</strong>. (This section does notdeny individuals the right to peaceful, non-disruptive assembly.)B. No person or group of people shall obstruct the free movement ofother persons about the campus or interfere with the <strong>University</strong> facilities.C. The abuse or unauthorized use of sound amplification equipment in orout doors is prohibited. (The use of equipment must be authorized bythe appropriate department or organization, the Office of <strong>Student</strong> Activitiesand Organizations, and the Vice Chancellor for <strong>Student</strong> Affairs.and Enrollment Services.D. Rowdy behavior, indecent language, excessive noise or drunken ordrug induced behavior is prohibited.E. Disorderly and/or obscene conduct or a breach of the peace on any<strong>University</strong> property or public function affiliated with the <strong>University</strong> isprohibited.Participation in such acts is subject to <strong>University</strong> disciplinary actionand punishable by law.Disruption of Classes and <strong>University</strong> FunctionsAny person who, without authority, disrupts classes or other educationalfunctions on the campus shall be arrested for disturbing the peace, turnedover to civil authorities and shall be subject to disciplinary action whichmay result in suspension or expulsion.Disruptive BehaviorA. No person shall threaten to, or actually push, strike, or physicallyassault any member of the <strong>University</strong> community or any guest to thecampus.B. <strong>Student</strong>s who maliciously provoke or participate in fights will besubject to disciplinary warning, probation, suspension, or dismissal.C. Conduct, which interferes with the normal operation of the<strong>University</strong>, or with the requirements of appropriate discipline are prohibited.94
