There is no <strong>European</strong>database that connects individual national databases of existing translations oftheatre plays. The EC should support a database that connects national platforms on a<strong>European</strong> level, regrouping existing works and allowing access to the work oftranslators and interpreters in order to promote multilingual content.Subtitling is preferable to dubbing because it makes people aware of multilingualism.
