The group provides forums to encourage dialoguewith stakeholders, understand concerns of all parties, suggestmutually acceptable improvement ideas, and share the practicesand results achieved by the EICC Implementation Groupas follows:• Stakeholder forums are designed to deliver a transparentprocess with clear roles and responsibilities, and providestakeholders time and space to discuss their issues.• The EICC Steering Committee currently determines thecomposition and frequency of meetings.• Stakeholders include customers, nongovernmentalorganizations (NGOs), socially responsible investors(SRI), government representatives, industry associations,universities, worker groups, and communities.The goal in 2006 is to create and communicate a formalprocess through use of the EICC Web site to ensure thatperiodic reviews of the code continue and to include inputfrom key stakeholder groups.
