Middle Tennessee<strong>Dell</strong> was a sponsor of Artrageous, an annual fundraiserthat supports Nashville Cares, the leading HIV/AIDS servicesorganization in Middle Tennessee.During <strong>Dell</strong>'s 2005 Global Community Involvement Month, theDIS Global Contact Center Operations team volunteered at theTexas Baptist Children's Home, which provides care for abusedand neglected children in Central Texas.Central Texas<strong>Dell</strong> was a sponsor of the Hill Country Ride for AIDS, whichraises money to support 10 different HIV/AIDS services organizationsin the Central Texas region. In addition, <strong>Dell</strong> supportedAustin AIDS Walk with a company presence and employeewalk team, and was a sponsor of the Interfaith Care Alliance'sannual award dinner. <strong>Dell</strong> employees are board members ofseveral organizations in Central Texas that provide HIV/AIDSrelatedservices, including AIDS Services of Austin, WaterlooCounseling Center, The Friends of David Powell Clinic, andOut Youth.ChinaIn Shanghai, China, <strong>Dell</strong> employees worked with AIDS OrphanHouse to make a donation of books and toys to children fromHIV-affected families in Henan Province.India<strong>Dell</strong> works closely with the Freedom Foundation in Bangalore,India which is dedicated to providing services to people andchildren living with HIV and using education to help fight thespread of HIV/AIDS. To raise money to support the FreedomFoundation, <strong>Dell</strong> sponsors an annual "fun run" in December,in which more than 1,800 <strong>Dell</strong> employees participate annually.The 2005 run raised thousands of dollars for the Foundation.In addition, the Freedom Foundation has sponsored employeeawareness training at <strong>Dell</strong> facilities, and <strong>Dell</strong> employees havevolunteered at the foundation's center.Malaysia<strong>Dell</strong> has partnered with the Malaysian AIDS Foundation (MAF)on a number of initiatives. In the annual Ride for Life, three<strong>Dell</strong> employees joined a 400 kilometer bike ride acrossMalaysia, in which riders stopped in towns along the way tooffer HIV/AIDS prevention education.
