Axiata Group Berhad (242188-H) Annual Report 2012DIRECTORS’REPORTThe Directors have pleasure in submitting their report together with the audited financial statements of the Groupand the Company for the financial year ended 31 December 2012.PRINCIPAL ACTIVITIESThe principal activities of the Group are the provision of mobile communication services and network transmissionrelated services.The principal activities of the Company are investment holding and provision of technical and management serviceson an international scale, where it has investments in subsidiaries, jointly controlled entities and associates. Theprincipal activities of the subsidiaries are mainly the provision of mobile communication services and networktransmission related services.The principal activities of the subsidiaries are set out in Note 41 to the financial statements.
