Requirements must be met in full before entrance to <strong>Bellin</strong><strong>College</strong>; timelines will be communicated during the admission process.Students Enrolling at UWGBStudents entering UWGB should be advised of placement criteria for Math, English, Biology, and Chemistrycourses.If UWGB prerequisite requirements are not met upon admission to <strong>Bellin</strong> <strong>College</strong>, summer coursework mustbe taken to maintain the timeline/sequence of the academic plan of scheduled general educationrequirements.• UWGB Math Placement: To determine mathematics competency and appropriate course placement,UWGB uses the Wisconsin Mathematics Placement Test (WMPT). This is a requirement for all newfreshmen, all transfer and re-entry met, prerequisite coursework is required. Students should completethe WMPT as soon as acceptance to UWGB occurs to allow for appropriate course planning.• UWGB English Placement: English competency and appropriate course placement is determined by theEnglish portion of the American <strong>College</strong> Testing (ACT) or the Verbal/Critical Reading portion of theScholastic Aptitude Test (SAT I). This is a requirement for all new freshmen and all transfer and re-entrystudents who have not satisfactorily completed a college level course in English. If the establishedproficiency is not met, prerequisite coursework is required.20
