BELLIN COLLEGE CATALOG2011-12Audit FeeA student, who wishes to enroll in a <strong>Bellin</strong> <strong>College</strong> course or courses without receiving credit, may audit anygeneral education or radiologic science course, if the <strong>College</strong> administration determines there is spaceavailable. The tuition charge for auditing a course is one-third the regular per-credit charge for that course.Orientation Make-Up FeeAttendance at all parts of an orientation is mandatory. Missed orientations require additional administrativestaff and faculty time for re-scheduling. A $100 fee is charged for make-up orientations.Rescheduling FeesA $100 fee is assessed for the rescheduling of mandatory activities such as (but not limited to) orientations,and/or computer training. All fees must be paid or payment arrangements made prior to testing.BSRS-Financial AidPhilosophyThe primary responsibility for financing a college education rests with the student and his/her family. Thepurpose of the financial aid program is to assist those students who might not otherwise be able to afford acollege education by providing financial support. The purpose of the financial aid office is to help the studentlocate and receive all the financial resources for which he/she is eligible.General Financial Aid Information<strong>Bellin</strong> <strong>College</strong> freshman students who take their general education courses at UWGB apply for and (if eligible)receive financial aid through the UWGB.If general education courses are taken at an institution other than UWGB, the student must discuss his/herfinancial aid options with the <strong>Bellin</strong> <strong>College</strong> Financial Aid Office.During the sophomore, junior and senior years at <strong>Bellin</strong> <strong>College</strong>, all students may apply for and (if eligible)receive financial aid through <strong>Bellin</strong> <strong>College</strong>.For financial aid purposes only, the combined credit load from both institutions, (<strong>Bellin</strong> <strong>College</strong> and UWGB) areconsidered in computing full or part-time enrollment status. Enrollment in a minimum of six credits is requiredin order to be considered for most financial aid programs.• Full-time enrollment ................................... 12 or more credits• Three-quarter-time enrollment.................. 9-11 credits• Half-time enrollment .................................. 6-8 credits• Less-than-half-time enrollment.................. 1-5 creditsSources of Financial AidThe list below outlines the Federal, State and <strong>Bellin</strong> <strong>College</strong> funded financial aid programs.
