FIRST-YEAR<br />

• Played in all 12 games with nine starts as a junior and tied for fifth on the team with 56 tackles, three pass<br />

breakups, one forced fumble and a blocked kick.<br />

• Started 10 of the 12 games he played as a sophomore and finished with 46 tackles, six for losses, five<br />

pressures with one interception and one fumble return, each for touchdowns.<br />

• Appeared in eight games as a true freshman, mainly on special teams, and posted five coverage tackles<br />

while adding seven defensive stops.<br />

PERSONAL:<br />

• Played both wide receiver and defensive back at Damascus, Md., High School, catching 21 passes for 330<br />

yards and four touchdowns as a senior.<br />

• Helped lead Damascus to an undefeated season and the Maryland 3A state semifinals in his final prep season.<br />

• Earned a degree in criminal justice from Appalachian State.<br />

COLLEGE:<br />

• With 45 starts in 50 collegiate games played, racked up 212 tackles, 6/5 for losses, 25 breakups, eight<br />

interceptions and one fumble recovery.<br />

• In his senior season, moved to safety and started all 12 games, posting a team-best 72 tackles with seven<br />

breakups, a fumble return for a touchdown and an interception.<br />

• Notched 49 tackles, three breakups, two picks, two hurries and a tackle for loss, starting all 13 games,<br />

including his first start at safety in the Belk Bowl.<br />

• As a sophomore, earned All-ACC honorable mention, starting all 12 games at cornerback and totalling 48<br />

tackles, 5.5 for losses and team-highs in interceptions (four) and breakups (nine).<br />

• Started eight of the 13 games he played as a true freshman corner and tallied 43 tackles, six breakups<br />

(second on the team), two hurries and an interception.<br />

PERSONAL:<br />

• One of the top safety prospects in the nation, earning all-district honors as a defensive back, wide receiver<br />

and kick returner at Colonial Forge High School in Stafford, Va.<br />

• Earned Commonweatlh District Defensive Player of the Year and was a first-team All-Fredericksburg selection<br />

as a senior.<br />

• Also played for Colonial’s basketball squad.<br />

• Earned a degree in exercise and sports science from North Carolina.<br />
