COLLEGE:<br />

• Earned All-American Dream Team honors from The NFL Draft Report and was named All-Western Athletic<br />

Conference first-team by the league’s coaches as a senior.<br />

• Part of a defensive line that led the WAC and ranked 17th nationally in run defense (110.0 yards-per-game)<br />

and first in the WAC in scoring defense (18.69 points-per-game; 12th in the country) and total defense<br />

(320.85 yards-per-game; 16th in the country).<br />

• Started 11 games while leading the team - tied for fourth in the WAC - with 6.5 sacks.<br />

• Also paced the Broncos with 13.5 tackles for loss, which ranked third in the conference, while also tallying<br />

44 tackles, two quarterback pressures, three forced fumbles, two fumble recoveries, returning one for a<br />

touchdown, and a blocked kick.<br />

• Played in all 13 games as a reserve weak-side defensive end during his first season at Boise State and<br />

received All-America honorable mention from Sports Illustrated.<br />

• Finished second on the squad with 7.0 sacks and tied for the team lead with 13.5 tackles for loss.<br />

• Recorded 32 tackles with a forced fumble, a fumble recovery, a pass deflection and a blocked kick.<br />

• Received All-America, All-State and All-Southern California Football Association first-team honors in addition to<br />

being named the SCFA and National Northern Division Defensive Most Valuable Player honors at Bakersfield<br />

Junior College.<br />

• Recorded 42 tackles and led the team and ranked eighth among the state’s junior colleges with 8.0 sacks<br />

and 14 tackles for loss.<br />

• Earned All-SCFA first-team honors at Bakersfield as a freshman.<br />

• Played in nine games with 38 tackles, 6.0 sacks, 13 tackles for loss, one breakup and a fumble recovery.<br />

PERSONAL:<br />

• Attended Catholic Central High School, in Windsor, Ontario, Canada, where he was a three-sport standout.<br />

• In four seasons on the gridiron, including his last two campaigns serving as team captain, the two-way player<br />

earned All-Windsor & Essex County Secondary School Athletic Association first-team honors.<br />

• As a junior, was named the association’s Most Valuable Player in football, and in 2006, was the recipient of<br />

the Royal Arcanium WECSSAA Outstanding Athlete Award for all sports.<br />

• Lettered twice in track and field at Central Catholic, as he captured gold medals both seasons in the shot<br />

put at the WECSSAA, South Western Ontario Secondary School Athletic Association and Ontario Federation<br />

of School Athletic Associations championships.<br />

• Also won gold medals in the discus at the WECSSAA and SWOSSAA finals in 2004 and 2005.<br />

• Added two more letters in basketball and was named the WECSSA Most Valuable Player in 2007, and was<br />

the recipient of the Bill Rogin Award, given to the top hoops player in the Ontario secondary schools.<br />

• Was a physical education major.<br />

• He and his fiance, Kelsey Mills, are to be married in March, 2016.<br />
