NFC Wild Card Round
Dallas 24, Detroit 20
AT&T Stadium, January 4, 2015
Attendance: 91,410
The Dallas Cowboys staged the secondlargest
come-from-behind victory in franchise
postseason history against the Detroit Lions, rallying
from a 14-point deficit to win 24-20. The Lions
scored on each of their first two drives to take the
early lead. Matthew Stafford threw a 51-yard
touchdown to Golden Tate. After forcing a Dallas
punt, the Lions engineered a 14-play, 99-yard
scoring march, aided by a Cowboys special teams
penalty, before Reggie Bush capped the drive
with an 18-yard burst into the end zone. It was the
longest scoring drive Dallas had allowed all season.
The Dallas defense buckled down in the second
quarter, forcing punts on the next two Lions
possessions, and Tony Romo hit Terrance
Williams for a 76-yard touchdown. Detroit added a
Matt Prater 39-yard field goal before the half
ended to create a 17-7 advantage.
Prater put another field goal through the
uprights from 37 yards away, but Romo and the
Cowboys took control, cutting their deficit to six on
a DeMarco Murray one-yard fourth down run
through the middle. Dan Bailey converted a 51-
yard field goal to start the fourth quarter. After a
Lions punt, Romo guided the Cowboys on an 11-
play drive taking over five minutes off the clock,
and connected with Terrance Williams on an
eight-yard touchdown strike to complete the
comeback, giving Dallas a 24-20 advantage.
NFC Divisional Round
Green Bay 26, Dallas 21
Lambeau Field, January 11, 2015
Attendance: 79,704
The Dallas Cowboys fell to the Green Bay
Packers 26-21 In an NFC Divisional Playoff
Game. Aaron Rodgers led the Packers down the
field on a 10-play opening drive that resulted in a
four-yard touchdown pass to Andrew Quarless.
Tony Romo and the Dallas offense answered with
a touchdown drive of their own, marching down
the field on a 12-play, 7:25 drive that culminated
in a Tyler Clutts one-yard touchdown pass from
Romo. The Cowboys defense got the ball back
when Jeremy Mincey sacked Rodgers, forced
and recovered a fumble. Romo capitalized, hitting
Terrance Williams on a short curl which Williams
then sliced through the Packers defense for a 38-
yard catch-and-run score. After a Dan Bailey field
goal attempt was blocked, Green Bay moved the
ball down the field and garnered a field goal
before halftime, for a 14-10 deficit.
After a punt on the first possession of the half,
Green Bay capitalized on a Dallas mistake,
pouncing on a DeMarco Murray fumble and netting
a field goal on offense. Dallas responded
with their third touchdown of the game, a oneyard
burst by Murray, to give the Cowboys a 21-
13 advantage. Rodgers completed 13-of-16
passes on the next two Packers drives, throwing
touchdown passes to DaVonte Adams and
Richard Rodgers, respectively, and giving the
Packers a 26-21 lead after a failed two-point
conversion. With the Cowboys down and time
running low, Romo was unable to convert a
fourth down and Green Bay ran out the final 4-
plus minutes.
