Draft Day Party at AT&T Stadium
Every year the Cowboys invite fans to attend a fun and
free party at AT&T Stadium in honor of the first day of
the NFL Draft. Draft coverage is shown on screens
throughout the venue while fans have the opportunity
to receive autographs from former and current Dallas
Cowboys players and cheerleaders and watch talent
like the Cowboys Rhythm & Blue Dancers. For the first
time in 2015, the Cowboys expanded their NFL Draft
celebration over three days, with fans invited to attend
events each day of the NFL Draft. Fans watched as
former Cowboys and Cowboys sponsor representatives
announced the team’s draft picks live from AT&T
Stadium on NFL Network and NFL.com.
Taste of the NFL: The Ultimate Cowboys Tailgate Party
In May 2015, the Dallas Cowboys offensive line,
led by Travis Frederick, along with former players
Charles Haley, Preston Pearson and Chad
Hennings joined Abacus executive chef and proprietor
Kent Rathbun in hosting the 11th annual
Taste of the NFL: The Ultimate Cowboys Tailgate
Party benefiting the North Texas Food Bank.
Presented by Nationwide, the legendary tailgate
party was held for the first time at AT&T Stadium,
and featured a silent and live auction, live country
music and culinary creations from nearly two
dozen of the area’s hottest restaurant chefs.
Since the fundraiser’s inception in 2005, nearly 5
million meals have been provided to hungry North
Texas children with 100 percent of the event proceeds
helping distribute food through the Food Bank’s member agencies and feeding programs.
Dallas Cowboys Women’s Association
The Dallas Cowboys Women’s Association – an organization
of players, coaches and executive wives and
significant others – works on behalf of the team to
make a difference in the North Texas community.
Since 2008, the group has raised nearly $600,000
for local non-profits, including the SPCA of Texas,
Family Gateway, The Gatehouse at Grapevine, Nexus
Recovery Center and more. The Women’s
Association joins Gene Jones, Charlotte Jones
Anderson and Cowboys players each year in serving
an early Thanksgiving Day meal at The Salvation
Army; hosts a “Christmas of Giving” for women and
children who have escaped domestic violence at The
Family Place; raises awareness for breast cancer screening; and visits with sick children at Texas
Scottish Rite Hospital for Children.
Dallas Cowboys Legends
The Cowboys celebrate the team’s storied history
by integrating the team’s former players
into their year-round community outreach and
game day experience at AT&T Stadium. The
Dallas Cowboys Legends program encompasses
the great tradition that is the Dallas Cowboys
