Hall is responsible for the organization of the<br />

annual Dallas Day - which allows visits from local college<br />

prospects each year - and also coordinates the<br />

yearly 30 pre-draft top college prospect player visits<br />

allowed by the NFL before the yearly NFL Draft.<br />

He also assisted National Invitational Camp (NIC)<br />

for the last 20 years in the operations of player<br />

arrival, check-in and execution of the NFL Scouting<br />

Combine in Indianapolis, Ind.<br />

DREW FABIANICH (FAY-bee-on-itch)<br />

National Scout<br />

Drew Fabianich joined the Cowboys Scouting<br />

Department in 2003 as a scout administered by the<br />

BLESTO Scouting Combine. He served as the<br />

Cowboys midwest area scout from 2004-07 before<br />

becoming a national scout for the club in 2008.<br />

Prior to joining the Cowboys, Fabianich spent 17<br />

years as a high school and college coach. Most<br />

recently, he spent two seasons as the defensive<br />

coordinator/linebackers coach at W.T. White High<br />

School in Dallas, Texas (1999-01). From 1996-99 he<br />

was the defensive coordinator/linebackers coach at<br />

Northeast Louisiana University. Prior to that, he was<br />

the defensive coordinator/linebackers coach at the<br />

University of Tennessee-Martin (1993-96).<br />

Fabianich served as the defensive ends/special<br />

teams defense coach from 1991-93 at the University<br />

of Tennessee. In 1989 he worked as a graduate<br />

assistant/defensive ends and special teams defense<br />

WALTER JULIFF<br />

National Scout<br />

Walter Juliff enters his 32nd season as an NFL<br />

scout and 28th year with the Cowboys. Juliff served<br />

as the Cowboys southeast area scout from 2001-07<br />

before becoming a national scout for the club in<br />

2008. He served as assistant director of college and<br />

pro scouting for the club from 1995-00 after spending<br />

the previous eight years as a national and area<br />

scout. He was also responsible for signing college<br />

free agents from 1992-00.<br />

Before becoming a full-time scout, Juliff spent<br />

two seasons as a graduate assistant at the<br />

University of Texas. He was also an assistant with the<br />

Kerrville Tivy football and track teams, the Abilene<br />

Cooper High School football and baseball teams and<br />

Hall originally joined the Cowboys scouting<br />

department in 1990 as a scouting assistant, where<br />

he was responsible for processing player reports,<br />

organizing film and working closely with the college<br />

scouts in managing and scheduling projects. Prior to<br />

joining the Cowboys, Hall worked briefly in the athletic<br />

offices at Southern Methodist University.<br />

Hall graduated from Southern Methodist in 1990<br />

with a degree in advertising. He resides in Coppell,<br />

Texas, with his wife, Susan, and two daughters,<br />

Izabella and Victoria.<br />

there as a quarterbacks and receivers coach/passing<br />

Fabianich lettered as a quarterback at Mesa<br />

State College and participated in the 1982 NAIA<br />

National Championship Game before a spinal injury in<br />

1983 ended his career. A two-year starter at<br />

Longmont, Colo., High School, Fabianich passed for<br />

over 2,500 yards and participated in the Colorado<br />

high school all-star game.<br />

He graduated with a degree in kinesiology from<br />

Mesa State College in Colorado in 1988 and went on<br />

to Baylor University to work on his master’s degree<br />

in sports administration. Fabianich was born on April<br />

12, 1964 in Massillon, Ohio. He has four children -<br />

Ashleigh, Dominic, Markus and Landis.<br />

Juliff began his coaching career as a graduate<br />

assistant at Angelo State, where he spent two seasons.<br />

In 1978 the Rams went undefeated and won<br />

the NAIA national championship, then lost in the<br />

national semifinals the next year. A native of San<br />

Angelo, Texas, Juliff starred in football and as a hurdler<br />

in track at Central High School.<br />

Juliff, who lives in Austin, Texas, earned his bachelor’s<br />

degree from Angelo State University, where he<br />

also ran track, and his M.B.A. from Texas. He and<br />

former Cowboys quarterback Jerry Rhome are<br />

cousins.
