Concept for Carroll Lane reflects recapture of substan ally<br />

underu lized parking on one side of the street:<br />

Ÿ Recaptured street width (approx. 7’ total) is split evenly between<br />

two sides of street: both curbs moved inward by half of width of<br />

recaptured parking lane<br />

Ÿ Remaining parking could be alternate sides of the street every 2-4<br />

blocks to create a chicaning and traffic calming effect<br />
