to Henry Boot?<br />

Corporate responsibility (CR) means<br />

addressing the key social, ethical<br />

and environmental impacts on our<br />

operations in a way that aims to<br />

bring value to all our stakeholders,<br />

including our shareholders.<br />

The measures we employ to manage our operations<br />

ensure everything we do is aligned to our Values to<br />

develop our businesses effectively, successfully and<br />

responsibly.<br />

Our CR programme and our Values coalesce<br />

to provide a strategic framework to develop a<br />

sustainable and responsible business by acting<br />

ethically; developing positive relationships with<br />

suppliers; taking care of our employees; taking<br />

responsibility for our impact on the environment;<br />

delivering support to our local communities; and<br />

delivering value to our customers, shareholders<br />

and other stakeholders.<br />

We continue to face a number of challenges in all<br />

our business operations; we must continue to act<br />

fairly and responsibly as it is not only the right thing<br />

to do but it also makes good business sense.<br />

We are working within increasingly complex<br />

regulations that impact on our businesses, our<br />

customers, the suppliers we trade with, the<br />

environment and the communities in which we<br />

operate. However, we believe we are making<br />

positive progress by trading responsibly and being a<br />
