Constitution of Committees<br />
After detailed consultation with all the stakeholders<br />
the Executive Committee which was empowered<br />
to take all the decisions pertaining to the successful<br />
conduct of the 12th South Asian Games was<br />
constituted on 13th August 2015. The Executive<br />
Committee consisted of representatives from all the<br />
key stakeholders of the Games. Further, a Finance<br />
Committee to ensure all financial regularities are<br />
maintained was constituted under the Chairmanship<br />
of CEO, OC-SAG along with an Infrastructure<br />
Committee to ensure that the infrastructure<br />
development is as per the pace required. The<br />
Infrastructure Committees were set up in both<br />
Guwahati & Shillong under the Chairmanship of Chief<br />
Secretaries of Assam & Meghalaya respectively. For<br />
successful technical conduct of the Games the Indian<br />
Olympic Association constituted a Games Technical<br />
Conduct Committee.<br />

After careful assessment of the requirements for<br />
the conduct of the Games the first meeting of<br />
the Executive Committee was convened on 29th<br />
August 2015 where approvals for setting up the<br />
Games Secretariat in Guwahati and Shillong,<br />
operations plan for each functional area, Games<br />
Master Schedule, administrative and financial<br />
