Sports Competitions are the heart of the Games.
OC-SAG in consultation with the GTCC ensured
that all the competitions were held as per the
requirements of the International Federations
(IFs). Conducting the competitions in a flawless
manner was the biggest endeavour of the
organising committee which is why attention to
every detail with regard to the sports equipment
required, the field of play and facilities required
for athletes at the venues, Timing Scoring
and Result equipment as per the international
specifications was given and everything was
made available at each and every venue. In order
for the successful conduct of the competitions
the following structure was adopted:
• Technical Delegate
• Competition Director
• Manager (Sport Operations)
