Work life balance<br />

Work life balance means different things to different people,<br />

and, as a result we provide a variety of options that allow<br />

our employees to optimise work life balance, as it applies<br />

to them, their families and their non-work related pursuits.<br />

As an ‘Employer of Choice’, we believe that providing<br />

our employees with our support across work and family<br />

responsibilities fosters a sense of wellbeing that, in turn,<br />

translates to a happy and productive workplace. We<br />

closely monitor staff annual leave and long service<br />

leave balances to ensure that leave is being taken<br />

on a regular basis for optimal work life balance and<br />

family time.<br />

Flexibility at work<br />

Tassal provides diversity in career options across<br />

our operations, allowing individuals to select<br />

from location, function, career paths options<br />

and employment types. We provide a variety<br />

of employment and roster options, and the<br />

option for employees to transfer or relocate<br />

within or across functions.<br />

Local management team members<br />

have the ability to work at the individual<br />

team level to be flexible within working<br />

practices, for example, allowing team<br />

members to take time to attend school<br />

activities. These flexible work options<br />

extend to the provision of technology<br />

that allows for ‘smart’ working<br />

environments, allowing most<br />

employees to attend meetings<br />

remotely or work from home from<br />

time to time.<br />
