ENGINE FAILURE (Continued)<br />

CAUTION<br />

The FUEL CONDITION Lever can be moved<br />

momentarily to CUTOFF and then back to LOW IDLE if<br />

overtemperature tendencies are encountered. This<br />

reduces the flow of fuel to the combustion chamber.<br />

If the engine starter is inoperative, follow the No Starter Assist checklist<br />

procedures for an airstart.<br />

CAUTION<br />

• If a rise in N g and ITT are not indicated within 10<br />

seconds, place FUEL CONDITION lever to cutoff<br />

and abort start. Refer to Emergency Procedures<br />

Engine Failure During Flight and Emergency<br />

Landing Without Engine Power.<br />

• Emergency airstarts can be attempted below 10%<br />

N g and outside the normal airspeed envelope, but<br />

ITT should be closely monitored. the FUEL<br />

CONDITION lever can be moved alternately to cutoff<br />

and then back to low idle if overtemperature<br />

tendencies are encountered.<br />

• Do not attempt an airstart without starter assist with<br />

0% N g .<br />
