MODEL 208B G1000 ABNORMAL PROCEDURES<br />

PITCH/ROLL/HEADING MISCOMPARE (Amber PIT/ROLL/<br />

HDG MISCOMP INDICATION PFD)<br />

This message is displayed when the G1000 detects a difference<br />

between the pilot’s and copilot’s attitude or heading information<br />

(displayed in the upper right of the PFD). Refer to GARMIN G1000<br />

Cockpit Reference Guide for additional information.<br />

PITCH OR ROLL MISCOMP INDICATION<br />

1. Refer to STANDBY ATTITUDE indicator to determine which<br />

AHRS is providing the most accurate data.<br />

2. Use SENSOR REVERSION to select the most accurate AHRS<br />

on the affected PFD.<br />

HEADING MISCOMP<br />

1. Refer to Magnetic Compass to determine which AHRS is<br />

providing the most accurate heading information.<br />

2. Use SENSOR REVERSION to select the most accurate AHRS<br />

on the affected PFD.<br />

NOTE<br />

The magnetic compass is influenced by air conditioning. It<br />

must be turned OFF prior to referencing magnetic compass<br />

heading then may be reselected ON.<br />
