International Conference
on “Global Competitiveness
and Corporate Governance
Imperatives in Emerging
Economies”: Feb. 15 & 16, 2013
The School of Management Studies organized an International Conference on
“Global Competitiveness and Corporate Governance Imperatives in Emerging
Economies” on Feb. 15 & 16, 2013. Over 80 participants attended the
conference. There were eleven participants from foreign countries, including
three from international partner universities of Ansal University from USA. A total
of 58 papers were presented in the conference, including 55 from India and
three from abroad. 18 papers were contributed by the faculty of Ansal University.
The countries represented in the conference included USA, UK, Hong Kong,
Nigeria, South Korea and Afghanistan. The international partner universities
participating in the conference included Valparaiso University and Tarleton State
University. Besides, senior level participation from Government, industry, foreign
consulates and NGOs, as well as faculty from academic institutes/ universities in
India were the highlights of the conference.
The AU Theatre Group was launched during the conference and a cultural
programme for conference guests was organized by the Theatre Group. The
food served in the conference and hospitality for the same was totally managed
by the Hotel Management faculty and students of the School of Management
Studies of Ansal University.
