ACHIEVEMENTS
Four students of B Tech. first semester (SET) Aditya Lochan, Anubhav
Dhawan, Ravinder Kumar and Saurabh Juneja who were the winners in
“Robotryst”, the Robotics workshop which was organized by the School
of Engineering & Technology in October, made us proud again by winning
the first prize in the Robo Run and Robo Line Follower in the fest held at
CGC (Chandigarh Group of Colleges) Landran. They received Rs. 3000/- &
Rs. 2000/- as cash prize, certificates as well as trophies. These prizes were
awarded to them by Chief Guest Smt. Hasmareet Singh Badal, Member of
Parliament, Punjab. We would like to congratulate them and wish them all
the best for all future endeavours.
Three students of SET, namely Nitesh Kr. Arora, Rashi Burman and Kunal
Bhatia won prizes in the Robo-Run & Robo Takedown events in “Robo-
Race”, the technical fest organized at GB Pant Engineering college on
October 17-19, 2012.
Seven students of B Tech. final year (AIT) comprising of B Tech. final year
EEE & ECE students made us proud by winning the 2nd & 3rd prizes
at “Vyan’2012-Evangelist”, the Entrepreneurship Event organized by
Department of Management Studies, IIT Roorkee on November 19, 2012.
The topic of the first team, “Halo Aviators”, was “Pedal Powdered Water
Purifier”. It comprised of Aditya Kumar, Dhruv Gupta, Navneet Kumar and
Neha Khawas.
