VICE CHANCELLOR’S MESSAGE
The journey of excellence which started more than two decades ago,
reached a new milestone with the establishment of Ansal University under
the Haryana Private Universities Act, 2006. I congratulate the management of
this new age University for its progressive and futuristic approach to imparting
higher education to students drawn from around the world in disciplines
and professions that have the greatest bearing on the future of India and the
World.
The greatest universities in the world pursue their mission of serving mankind
through imparting knowledge and wisdom and exploration of the unknown
through in-depth research, thereby improving the quality of life. Ansal
University is regarded as an institution which lays extraordinary foundations of academic excellence. Our alumni, as
professionals and industry leaders have added value to the best companies and organisations throughout the world. We
aim to build the future on these strengths and rise to even greater heights of distinction, scholarship and service. We shall
develop Centres of Excellence that bring the cutting-edge to all fields, benefitting society as a whole and the poor and
underprivileged in particular. Our collaboration with the top ranked Universities of US, UK, Canada, Australia and France
have helped us in benchmarking the global best practices.
The future of our societies entails greater-than-ever-before responsibility on the universities. In a world which will witness
increasing age of its people, governance issues, newer horizons in use of technologies and fast changing economic
landscape, specialized knowledge and skills will be key resources and will be highly sought after. The challenges shared
by all universities, will be to generate new knowledge keeping in mind the environmental sustainability.
I thank the university staff, alumni, students and industry who have contributed to the growth of our institutions and
commit ourselves to nurturing students who shall lead the communities of the future and work with a visionary zeal to
serve the humanity and transform societies by bringing peace, harmony and prosperity.
The Ansal University is a new-age University known for globally
recognized quality education in technology, management, humanities,
architecture and design. At the University, we maintain the highest
standards of education and give our students the most stimulating
environment for learning. Our focus is on developing human resources
that are appropriate for India’s emerging needs as we go forward in the
new millennium. There has never been a greater need for having different
perspectives, right attitudes, relevant practical knowledge, softer skills,
innovative thinking, creativity and above all, leadership. The changing
business, social and economic environment needs restructuring of
educational processes and educational programmes in new areas.
At Ansal University, we believe in academic excellence, social responsibility, professional and personal growth of
students and faculty and these values guide us in every endeavour. Our faculty have the right blend of experience,
academic qualifications from leading institutions in India and abroad and rich experience of working in leading
institutions and universities. They employ latest pedagogical tools like structured lectures, seminars, case studies,
live projects and assignments to create a learning environment. The trans-disciplinary approach to learning helps
students develop integrative skills, research orientation, sound reading habits and inculcate team spirit.
There is a structured approach to engage the students in projects related to social problems to sensitize them
towards these issues and become better human beings.
The End of the Year book presents an account of varied learning activities undertaken by schools of the University
and represents rich learning our students undergo in an inter-disciplinary environment with understanding of multicultural
sensitivities.
