FACULTY - SCA<br />
The SCA faculty shares a common view of research as a progressive approach in imparting knowledge<br />
and encouraging growth in building students’ career. Their focus is to encourage students to use their<br />
personal competencies and develop programming skills to meet industry requirements. The faculty<br />
adopts various teaching methodologies like activity based teaching and trans-disciplinary learning to<br />
provide a wider reach to real world problems and equip the students to take on the challenges of the<br />
corporate world.<br />
Members of the faculty act as mentors and constantly guide students regarding their career challenges.<br />
The faculty collects information regarding individual class performances and activities of students and<br />
discusses their progress with them as well as with their guardians.<br />
Constantly on the lookout for new ideas and research emerging in their area of interest, the School faculty<br />
regularly attends conferences at national and international level and publishes papers in conference<br />
proceedings of repute. The faculty’s works have also been published in journals with high impact factor.<br />
This is evident from the fact that more than 30 research papers are credited to the department in the last<br />
academic year. Many of these are published in conference proceedings published by IEEE and Springer<br />
and in journals like ‘Computer Society of India’ and ‘Eurasip Journal of Image and Video Processing’.<br />
The School fosters cooperative and collaborative learning culture and to this effect, the faculty members<br />
are motivated to organize workshops for their fellow colleagues to share their respective expertise and<br />
exchange their ideas for further skill enhancement.<br />
