With Mr. Gurmeet Singh, MD Gurind Glass, there was never a
moment when we felt that we had an industrialist amongst us
and not one of our professors. He spent his invaluable time in
explaining various facets of glass like tinted glass, coated glass,
toughened glass, laminated glass, insulated glass and mirrors.
He also explained us the Indian market of glass where very
little of processed glass is used unlike other countries. He also
shared with us his Mantra of success which is made up of five
Ds - dream, direction, deadline, determination, and dedication.
It was a very enriching experience and he shared a few of his
own life stories and ended his talk by suggesting - ‘failure is
something that will come your way, you just need to know how
to deal it with.’
