Research Centre has been a very enriching experience. I look forward to a nice collaborative

Met verschillende mensen heb ik de afgelopen jaren samengewerkt en geschreven. Jan van
der Ende, je hebt me ontzettend veel geleerd over analyseren, en misschien wel het meest

De afgelopen jaren ben ik daarnaast omringd geweest door veel lieve mensen, zowel op
werk als daarnaast. Ten eerste mijn paranimfen, belangrijke steunpilaren vandaag, maar
ook de afgelopen jaren. Dear Ryan, for so many reasons this thesis would not have existed
without you. Over the past couple of years, I’ve been incredibly lucky to have you around,
both professionally and personally. I greatly admire your knowledge, your skills and your
selflessness in helping others. You taught me almost everything I know about neuroimaging,
you continually encouraged me and you were always patient with me. We also had loads
of fun together, be it scuba diving with manta rays, or eating cookies on a regular Tuesday
afternoon. However, most importantly, you were immensely supportive in difficult times.
Because of you, I never felt like I had to do this alone. It has been an honor to be your little
sister in science these years. Thank you thank you thank you.
Lieve Floor, al zo lang ben jij mijn liefste vriendin en wat heb je me bijgestaan deze jaren.
Bedankt dat je mijn klankbord bent. Dank voor je scherpe inzichten, je begrip en je oprechte
interesse, die je te midden van alle nacht- en weekenddiensten wist te cultiveren. Ik bewonder
je warmte, je echtheid en je levenslust. Wat speciaal dat je ook vandaag naast me staat.
