The Division <strong>of</strong> HIV, STD, Viral<br />
Hepatitis will complete a strategic plan<br />
for the prevention, care, surveillance,<br />
and elimination <strong>of</strong> HIV, STDs, and Viral<br />
Hepatitis.<br />
Increase knowledge and awareness<br />
around disease etiology and the<br />
prevention <strong>of</strong> HIV, STDs, and Viral<br />
Hepatitis.<br />
The Division will assemble a team <strong>of</strong> staff to<br />
develop a Division-wide strategic plan based<br />
on current epidemiological data and trends,<br />
the Presidents HIV/AIDS Agenda, The NIH<br />
Viral Hepatitis and Liver Cancer Prevention<br />
National Strategy, and other appropriate tools<br />
and publications.<br />
Division staff and appropriate partners will<br />
provide educational messages around disease<br />
etiology and prevention including harm<br />
reduction.<br />
The events and opportunities for message<br />
delivery include but are not limited to: health<br />
fairs, community events, the development and<br />
dissemination <strong>of</strong> PSAs and other marketing<br />
materials and support <strong>of</strong> partner events.<br />
