Medicaid.
Prenatal smoking data briefs created and
disseminated to prenatal care provider,
local health departments, and community
policy leaders.
Assess counties with the highest smoking
rates and the lowest smoking rates to
identify what works and what does not work
to decrease smoking among low income
pregnant women on Medicaid.
Conduct ongoing assessment of prenatal
smoking data using monthly Notice of
Pregnancy data; vital records, Title V
funded project quarterly reports, by county,
race, Medicaid versus Non- Medicaid.
