potential age based testing for viral<br />

hepatitis (based on CDC guidelines).<br />

Raise awareness among health care<br />

providers <strong>of</strong> the need for routine<br />

population, and risk based testing for<br />

HIV, STDs, Viral Hepatitis, in the health<br />

care setting.<br />

Division staff and national technical<br />

assistance providers will provide technical<br />

assistance and financial support when able and<br />

appropriate to entities providing these<br />

Prevention staff in cooperation with the<br />

Office <strong>of</strong> Public Affairs (OPA) at ISDH<br />

will work with CDC to distribute and/or<br />

develop a media campaign around routine<br />

testing.<br />

assistance providers will work to develop<br />

messages and opportunities for message<br />

dissemination to health care providers around<br />

the importance and need <strong>of</strong> routine,<br />

population, and risk based testing for HIV,<br />

STDs, and Viral Hepatitis in the health care<br />
