Meet FDA Voluntary Program Standards. ISDH<br />

Begin using CodePal for inspection data at<br />

ISDH in the 1 st year.<br />

Educate LHDs on CodePal to utilize the<br />

s<strong>of</strong>tware. Educate 5 LHDs with majority <strong>of</strong><br />

food establishments by end <strong>of</strong> year 2.<br />

Create linkages to LHDs with their own<br />

systems by end <strong>of</strong> year 3.<br />

Continue to educate and promote s<strong>of</strong>tware to<br />

create state-wide data system <strong>of</strong> 75% <strong>of</strong> food<br />

establishments by end <strong>of</strong> year 5.<br />

This information will be used to quickly and<br />

effectively assist with retail recall activities in<br />

the event <strong>of</strong> a shell egg related FBI outbreak.<br />

<strong>Indiana</strong> Food Safety & Defense Task Force<br />

workgroups develop recommendations to<br />

improve FBI prevention. Create formalized<br />

structure and strategic plans for the Task<br />

Force that challenges the Task Force to<br />

address more food safety and defense issues.<br />

Create workgroups like the charter workgroup<br />

and licensing proposal workgroup. Create a<br />

communications workgroup.<br />
