We will continue our work to have<br />
Gibraltar chosen as the location for<br />
a major UK television series. Already<br />
another documentary series is being<br />
shot here focusing on our emergency<br />
services.<br />
GREEN LANE<br />
We will seek to undertake the<br />
necessary works to stabilise the cliffs<br />
above Green Lane and re-open that<br />
access route to the Upper Rock.<br />
ORANGE BASTION<br />
The Orange Bastion tender was<br />
granted last year. We will support the<br />
work to bring that Bastion to life in a<br />
modern, tasteful and integrated way.<br />
DIGITAL CITIZENSHIP<br />
Your Gibraltar Identity Card is the key<br />
to all the services which Government<br />
offers. We have made great progress<br />
in this area although much remains<br />
to be done. The objective is that all<br />
interaction that you have to have with<br />
the Government should be achieved<br />
electronically and using your ID Card<br />
as your unique identifier.<br />
PARENTAL LEAVE<br />
As the world has progressed in most<br />
nations the concept of maternity<br />
leave has been widely developed into<br />
a concept of parental leave. We will<br />
move legislation to allow parental<br />
leave to be shared equally between<br />
parents of a newborn as they see<br />
fit. We will introduce provisions for<br />
parental bereavement leave for the sad<br />
circumstances where a parent suffers<br />
the loss of a child.<br />
