(2) Number of peer greeting Ben during the morning greeting routine
Figure 4.6 shows the peers’ independent participation in the classroom greeting
routine. The data presented show both typically developing peers and peers with disabilities.
However, 94% of the peers who independently participated in the song intervention were
typically developing. During the six days of the initial baseline condition, no peers
participated in the greeting routine (Condition A). With the implementation of the song
intervention (Condition B), the greeting behavior of the peers changed. As soon as the song
intervention was introduced, at least two classroom peers participated in the intervention.
For the remainder of the study, in all but one of the experimental sessions, peer participation
