greeting routine. On three occasions, more than two peers participated in the routine. This
was accomplished by the spontaneous decision of the teacher to repeat the greeting verse of
the song in order to accommodate all of the classmates who wanted to participate in the
greeting routine. Neither the modification of the intervention nor the withdrawal of the song
intervention returned the peers’ behavior to baseline conditions, with the exception of one
day. Nevertheless, it should be noted that in the withdrawal phase of the study the trend for
classmate participation decelerates.
