thinking on <strong>the</strong> furor that has been made on <strong>the</strong> subject of Freud's work<br />

and thought lfl should need fur<strong>the</strong>r justification for my activity, 1 offer<br />

<strong>the</strong> following for whatever it is worth: 1) many white psychiatrists already<br />

are concluding and stating aloud that (<strong>the</strong>ir) psychiatry is dead, a psychiatry<br />

that for <strong>the</strong> past 50 years has been based on Freudian <strong>the</strong>ses<br />

(apparently <strong>the</strong>y are recognizing from experience that <strong>the</strong> <strong>the</strong>ory bas little<br />

practical use); and 2) if Sigmund Freud was really an astute behavioral<br />

analyst and scientist, why was he unable <strong>to</strong> decode or predict <strong>the</strong> behavior<br />

of those in <strong>the</strong> environment in which he (as a Jew) found himself- an<br />

environment in which a full one-third of <strong>the</strong> world's <strong>to</strong>tal Jewish population<br />

would be destroyed?<br />

Certainly if Freud, as a Jew, was going <strong>to</strong> spend most of his energy<br />

thinking about and decoding behavior, he should have thought in greatest<br />

detail about why his people (<strong>the</strong> Semites) his<strong>to</strong>rically had been under<br />

attaCk throughout <strong>the</strong> whole of <strong>the</strong>ir European experience. That Freud<br />

should tell o<strong>the</strong>rs what <strong>to</strong> do with <strong>the</strong>ir behavior while he failed <strong>to</strong> provide<br />

answers for himself and for his entire group suggests that one can only<br />

take his ideas with <strong>the</strong> proverbial gtain of salt But as I demonstrate, Freud<br />

-perhaps feebly and unconsciously- was suuggling <strong>to</strong> discuss <strong>the</strong> major<br />

issue of his existence as an oppressed "non-white" victim in a white<br />

supremacy culture. <strong>The</strong>refore, his discussion, coming forth in <strong>the</strong> language<br />

of abstraction and displacement, has remained completely obscure<br />

and, in <strong>the</strong> final analysis, useless.<br />

It is my view that <strong>the</strong> word Semite is derived from <strong>the</strong> Latin prefiX<br />

"semi," which means "half'. Semites of <strong>the</strong> Jewish religion are persons<br />

from Africa who were half black and half white. Black plus white always<br />

equals "colored," meaning persons carrying in <strong>the</strong>ir genetic makeup some<br />

capacity <strong>to</strong> produce melanin pigmentation and, in some instances, a<br />

genetic capacity <strong>to</strong> produce kinkY hair. Jews who left Africa and went <strong>to</strong><br />

Europe were colored people when <strong>the</strong>y arrived <strong>the</strong>re hundreds of years<br />

ago. Europeans (whites) never have forgotten <strong>the</strong> Semite capacity for<br />

genetic dominance of <strong>the</strong> Aryan (white) population. Although after much<br />

intermixing many Jews lost much of <strong>the</strong>ir skin color, <strong>the</strong>y have continued<br />
