FOUNDATION SPRING
CONCERT
A superb Spring Concert took place in the
Wortham Hall, featuring performances
from the Junior and Senior Prep Choirs,
College Strings, Year 4 Violins, Prep
Strings and the College Chamber Choir.
The finale saw a Massed Choir take to
the stage to perform African Alleluia to
rapturous applause.
REMEMBRANCE CONCERT
Mount Kelly was delighted to host
the return of the Annual Community
Remembrance Concert at St Eustachius’
on Saturday 13 November, featuring the
Stannary Brass Band, the Canzonetta
Choir from St Joseph’s School and
the Mount Kelly Chamber Choir. The
programme also included a solo from Ms
Bernadette Bishop-Perrin on the organ
and a moving violin solo from Mrs Nicki
Farris. A retiring collection raised £427 for
the Royal British Legion.
CHORAL SOCIETY
Mount Kelly Choral Society presented
a programme of Christmas music on
Saturday 18 December at 19:30 in St
Eustachius’ Church in Tavistock including
Vivaldi’s exuberant setting of the Gloria,
Christmas music and favourite carols.
The concert featured an orchestra and
soloists Lamorna Wood (Soprano),
Magdalene Au-Yeung (Soprano) and
Emma Bowles (Mezzo-Soprano). and
was conducted by Mount Kelly Director
of Music, Julian Jensen.
