Theater <strong>Army</strong>. The TA provides overall comm<strong>and</strong> <strong>and</strong> control. It sets up priorities, assigns<br />

missions, <strong>and</strong> allocates resources according to the TA comm<strong>and</strong>ers’ concept of operations.<br />

Theater <strong>Army</strong> Area Comm<strong>and</strong>er. As set up by the TA, the TAACOM comm<strong>and</strong>er provides<br />

service support to the units in its area of operations. The TAACOM ACofS, Services develops policies <strong>and</strong><br />

plans <strong>for</strong> the provision <strong>and</strong> the location of field services assets; <strong>and</strong>, to their divisional <strong>and</strong> non-divisional<br />

units is one of service, cooperation, <strong>and</strong> assistance. The supported units coordinate their requirements<br />

through logistical channels.<br />

Corps Support Comm<strong>and</strong>er. The COSCOM comm<strong>and</strong>er comm<strong>and</strong>s <strong>and</strong> controls assigned<br />

<strong>and</strong> attached units. The COSCOM ACofS, Services, develops <strong>and</strong> plans <strong>for</strong> the provision <strong>and</strong> the location<br />

of field service assets <strong>and</strong> their frequency of use. The COSCOM relationship with divisional <strong>and</strong> nondivisional<br />

units is one of service, cooperation, <strong>and</strong> assistance. The supported units coordinate the<br />

requirements through logistical channels. Detailed operational in<strong>for</strong>mation is provided to these units in an<br />

administrative logistics order.<br />

Division Support Comm<strong>and</strong> Comm<strong>and</strong>er. The DISCOM comm<strong>and</strong>er comm<strong>and</strong>s <strong>and</strong><br />

controls organic <strong>and</strong> attached units of the DISCOM. The DISCOM SPO is the principal staff advisor to<br />

the DISCOM comm<strong>and</strong>er in the field services area. The DISCOM comm<strong>and</strong>er advises division<br />

comm<strong>and</strong>ers <strong>and</strong> staff about CSS operations throughout the division. The DISCOM support operations<br />

section <strong>and</strong> MMC provide planning <strong>and</strong> coordination to ensure sustainment support <strong>for</strong> all division <strong>and</strong>
