With the products in the mosaics series, Sannini offers the possibility
of using terracotta in formats traditionally associated with glass or
ceramic tesserae. It is now possible to tile masonry kitchens, bathrooms
and curvilinear surfaces with a minute texture of terracotta obtained
with a complex manufacturing process: smoothing to obtain calibrated
surfaces, cutting to obtain the required sizes, tumbling to round off
sharp corners, installation and manual gluing of all the elements onto a
specific paper-mesh structure. Sannini terracotta mosaic materials come
in boxes of 30x30x1 cm elements. The particularly smooth and velvety
appearance and finish of the surface is midway between the sobriety
of Sannini materials and the perfection of polished products.
Die Cottomosaike sind in ihrer Schlichtheit eine Bereicherung für
die Innenarchitektur und bieten einen Kontrast zu der Opulenz
der traditionellen Marmor-und Glasmosaiken. Vielfältig sind die
Anwendungsbereiche: nicht nur in Küche und Bad, auch in Wellness-
und Hotelbereichen können interessante Highlights gesetzt werden.
Die kalibrierten und getrommelten Mosaikstücke werden von Hand auf
Papiernetz verklebt und erreichen den Endkunden kartonverpackt im
Format 30x30x1 cm.
Avec les produits de la série mosaïques, Sannini offre la possibilité
d’utiliser le cotto dans les formes traditionnellement liées aux petits
formats vitreux ou céramiques. Dorénavant il sera possible de revêtir
les cuisines en maçonnerie, les salles de bains, les surfaces curvilignes,
au moyen d’une texture minutieuse en cotto, obtenue grâce à une
série complexe d’opérations: le polissage, pour obtenir des surfaces
calibrées; la coupe, pour réaliser les formats désirés; l’émoussement,
pour arrondir les angles vifs; le montage et l’encollage manuel de
tous les éléments sur une structure spéciale en mailles de papier. Les
matériaux mosaïques en cotto de Sannini sont fournis en éléments
de dimensions 30x30 cm, mis en boîtes. L’aspect et la finition de la
surface, particulièrement douce et veloutée, représentent une voie
intermédiaire entre la sobriété des matériaux Sannini
et la perfection des produits polis.
