Organisation Chart
The general organisation chart of ABC Algeria underwent
a few changes in the financial year 2012. The aim of these
structural changes is the grouping together of functions into
homogeneous groups in accordance with the imperatives
devolved upon each function by determining, inter alia, the
reporting lines of certain control functions through various
Committees under the supervision of the Board of Directors.
In a more marked manner, the main change concerns the
grouping together of the ongoing control functions within
the same division which was created when the general
organisation chart of ABC Algeria was reviewed and approved
by the Board of Directors.
Another change concerns the grouping together of business
units under the supervision of a Deputy Managing Director
responsible for Banking instead of a Divisional one as in the
past, in view of greater development and monitoring the
business of ABC Algeria at a senior level.
The General Administration function, supervised by the Support
Division, was split into two units to rationalise the conduct
of business related to asset management and the various
expenses of ABC Algeria.
To achieve these statutory objectives, the Managing Director is
seconded by two Deputy Directors. One for Operations; assisted
by two Division Heads: Head of the Support Division and Head
of the Permanent Control Division, and the other for Banking.
As regards Human Resources Management, considering its
strategic position, this function continues to report directly to
the Managing Director.
