The soil samples weretaken from 0-10 and 10-20 cm depth in eachcity within a standard network and also atindustrial territories. The results of the fieldand laboratory investigations have beenrepresented in a GIS system. We attemptedto draw a conclusion in connection with thecondition, contamination and history ofcontamination of soil. The results showedthat there is close connection between thesoil parameters and geological conditions.However, this connection shows a decreasein the centre of the city. The acidity andcalcic soils are determined fundamentallyby the parent material, but in the city centerthe acidity of soils were alkaline (by thegreatest number of point). The cause ofthis is the calcareous deposited debris. Theparticle size distribution of soils showedvarious appearances, but there was notpossible to discover the tendencies. In mostcases there was a high value of organicsubstance in the downtown area, partlydue to frequent grass fertilisation and soilspreading.BevezetésA városok elhelyezkedését és kialakulásátalapvetően befolyásolták a környezeti tényezők.Ezen tényezők mind a mai napighatnak a városok fejlődésére és életére.Ugyanakkor a város is hat a környezetére,így a kapcsolat kétoldalú. A városok alapvetőenátalakítják a környezetüket, amelyeredményeképpen sok város területén mamár nehezen ismerhetők fel a természetitényezők. A város és a környezet között folyamatosaz anyag, az energia, valamint azinformációáramlás.
