Threecities will be examined in this research(Sopron, Szombathely and Szekesfehervar).The building of the GIS Databasefor this purpose is based on the data producedby different applied research fieldslike hydrology, geology, pedology, climateresearch, remote sensing etc. containingattributes and other data is needed to integrateinto their analyse. The all data of theapplied sciences will be fit in one GIS systemso the researchers will be able to carryout integrated analyses of the environmentand the change of the environment. The researcherswho are responsible to build theGeoinformatical System faced to differentmethodological problems in integratingthe different types of data on many scales.First the researchers defined what type ofreference data (topographic maps, aerialphotos etc.) is necessary and what kind ofdata sources are available. Next step was todefine the necessary attribute information.Another problem is the implementation ofthe measured data into the system. The lastproblem is that the researchers should investigatewhat kind of thematic maps canbe created from this data. Further developmentwill be a model which is built for themonitoring of the urban ecological analysesfor the three cities; this must be solvedbased on this GI System.BevezetésA városökológia a városi környezetbenelőforduló élő szervezetek és a városi környezetköl-csönhatásával foglalkozik. Avárosökológiával foglalkozó kutatók tanulmányozzáka fákat, folyóvizeket, a vadonélő állatokat, és a városokban található nyíltterületeket, hogy megértsék ezen erőforrásokkiterjedését, azt hogyan változnak ezeka környezetszennyezés hatására.Az emberiség mintegy 60%-a városokban él.A városökológiai kutatások hatására jobbanmegértjük a városban lezajló változásokat,és a közösség bevonásával megváltoztathatjuka nem megfelelő folyamatokat. Ebbensegíthet: a madarak tanulmányozása, a területekrendbe-tétele, parkok létesítése, aközösség erősítése, ezáltal a közbiztonságnövelése, az életminőség javítása, egészségesebbélhetőbb települések tervezése.A városi ökoszisztémában is működik azegyes élő és élettelen tényezők kölcsönhatása(nap-sugárzás, víz –fák, mikrobák).A városi ökoszisztémában azonban ezek akölcsönhatások lé-nyegesen megváltoznak,9
