have been obtained regarding the super-elastic behavior of orthodontic<br />
wires in NiTi SMA.<br />
• Development of SMA active composites and nano-composites incorporating<br />
SMA. The fabrication of composites reinforced by carbon Fibers<br />
(CFRP) with embedded NiTi SMA wires was started.<br />
• A complete impedance based technique for structural health monitoring<br />
dedicated to aircraft structures was developed using piezoelectric<br />
patches as sensor-actuators devices.<br />
• Development of a miniaturized system dedicated to structural health<br />
monitoring of aeronautic structures based on electromechanical impedance<br />
techniques. This developments permits transferring technology<br />
from the INCT-EIE to EMBRAER.<br />
