Os adolescentes (16 a 17 anos) desenvolvem
atividades na condição de aprendizes, na forma
autorizada pela legislação. De acordo com a Lei
da Aprendizagem, aprendiz é o jovem que estuda
e trabalha, recebendo, ao mesmo tempo, formação
na profissão para a qual está se capacitando. O
aprendiz deve cursar a escola regular (se ainda
não concluiu o Ensino Médio) e estar matriculado
e frequentando instituição de ensino técnicoprofissional
conveniada com a empresa. No
caso da Usina Santa Terezinha, as instituições
conveniadas são o Senai (Serviço Nacional de
Aprendizagem Industrial), Senar (Serviço Nacional
de Aprendizagem Rural) e Senac (Serviço Nacional
de Aprendizagem Comercial).
Ressalta-se que um dos valores da Usina Santa
Terezinha é a não exploração do trabalho infantil.
Além disso, busca-se também desempenhar o papel
de educadora e orientadora em relação aos jovens,
assumindo a função de agente transformadora
na sociedade e contribuindo com a formação
profissional e cidadã de jovens.
In the company, young people between the ages
of 16 to 17 years old are in condition of apprentice,
as authorized by legislation. In accordance to the
Law, the apprentice is the young that studies,
works and receives remuneration at the same time,
training for the occupation. He must attend to regular
school (if he/she has not concluded high school),
be enrolled and attending to a technical institution
that is convened by the Usina Santa Terezinha like
Senai (National Service of Industrial Learning),
Senar (National Service of Rural Learning) and
Senac (National Service of Commercial Learning).
Important to note that one of the values of
the Usina Santa Terezinha is to combat child
labor. In addition, it seeks to also play the role of
educator and counselor for young people, being a
transformative agent for the society and contributing
for the professional and civic formation for them.
