A vida de Josué roda à volta da velha mercearia que herdou do pai
e tomar conta do seu irmão louco que tem de manter fechado em
casa. A ida ao bar e a sua amizade com uma mulher da vida, Abigail,
são as suas únicas válvulas de escape. Mas as rotinas de Josué
são abaladas quando o irmão foge de casa. Josué vai tentar apagar
o rasto assassino do irmão, mas a perversa realidade dos acontecimentos
vai virar a sua existência e obrigá-lo a enfrentar o seu
macabro destino.
Realizador, argumentista e produtor, nasceu em Barcelona em
1970. Trabalhou alguns anos com as maiores agência de publicidade
em Espanha. Em 2015 fundou a “Creatures of the dark” e começou
a desenvolver e produzir filmes de horror independentes. Realizou
“Asmodexia” (2014), a sua primeira longa-metragem apresentada
no Fantasporto, e “After the Lethargy” (2018).
Josué’s life revolves around the old grocery store he inherited from his
father and the care of an insane brother whom he must keep locked
up. The bar, his faith, and his friendship with Abigail, a street girl, are
his only escape valves. But Josué’s routines are violently altered
the night his brother manages to escape. Josué will try to cover up
the brutal misdeeds of his brother, but the perverse reality of the
events will turn his existence upside down, forcing him to face his
macabre destiny.
Director, writer and producer, born 1970 in Barcelona. He worked for
years with some of the leading advertising agencies in Spain. In 2015,
founded “Creatures of the Dark”, and presently is developing and
producing indie horror films. He directed “Asmodexia” (2014), his first
feature, presented in Fantasporto, and “After the Lethargy” (2018).
