Uma rapariga leva o namorado da cidade a conhecer os seus
amigos do lugar onde cresceu. Acampam todos junto às águas
enganadoras da pedreira abandonada num belo dia de sol. A tensão
cresce entre todos. A morte chega inevitavelmente. Selecção dos
festivais de Sitges e Bifan. Vencedor do Prémio Melhor Filme
no Festival de Cinema Latino Americano e prémios de Argumento
e Fotografia no Festival de Gramado. Primeira longa-metragem
dos realizadores.
Realizador e director de fotografia filipino, “Kargo” é a sua segunda
longa-metragem, depois de “Salvi: Ang Pagpadayon” (2013).
Cinematographer and director from the Philipines, “Kargo” is his second
feature after “Salvi: Ang Pagpadayon” (2013).
A girl takes her city boyfriend to meet her friends from the place where
she was born. Together, they camp near the deceiving waters of
an abandoned quarry. Tension grows. Death comes, relentless. Selection
of the Sitges (Spain) and Bifan (South Korea) festivals. Winner
of the Best Film Award at the Festival de Cinema Latino Americano
and winner of Best Screenplay and Cinematography at the Gramado
festival. First feature by the directors.
