Since 2019, the company has reduced
its carbon footprint by 33%
and, intending to become carbon
neutral by 2030, has taken a series
of actions to reduce electricity
consumption and be more sustainable.
One of them was the installation
of solar panels, which managed
to supply 100% of the electric
lighting in one of the buildings
of the São Carlos operation, still in
the pilot project.
The São Carlos location is also a reference
for including workers with disabilities by
offering fully accessible building facilities
and job opportunities for PcD (Persons with
Disabilities), which has constantly received
public recognition from the press. In addition,
it was in São Carlos that the company
launched the “Transforme-se” program, a
scholarship program in the IT & Data fields.
The program’s first edition trained dozens
of graduate students from public schools.
At the beginning of the project, only 12% of
those selected were currently employed, but
before graduation, the number had already
increased more than five times.
