plantio de árvores<br />
A Prefeitura de <strong>São</strong> <strong>Carlos</strong>, por meio da Secretaria Municipal<br />
de Meio Ambiente e Desenvolvimento Sustentável, recebeu,<br />
pelo quarto ano consecutivo, o certificado do Programa “Tree<br />
Cities of the World” – ou “Cidades-árvore do Mundo”, promovido<br />
pela Organização das Nações Unidas para Agricultura<br />
e Alimentação (FAO), órgão ligado à ONU. A premiação internacional,<br />
referente ao ano de 2022, reconheceu os esforços<br />
de 168 cidades em todo o planeta, 20 delas no Brasil, que, de<br />
acordo com o diagnóstico da FAO/ONU, adotam boas práticas<br />
na arborização urbana.<br />
