Traditional Science and Tech<br />
Fair stirs <strong>São</strong> <strong>Carlos</strong><br />
For over 10 years, <strong>São</strong> <strong>Carlos</strong> hosts the “U<strong>SP</strong> and DER <strong>São</strong> <strong>Carlos</strong> Science and<br />
Tech Fair”, an event organized by the Center for Optic and Photonic Research<br />
(CEPOF), located within the <strong>São</strong> <strong>Carlos</strong> Physics Institute (U<strong>SP</strong>) and by the <strong>São</strong><br />
<strong>Carlos</strong> Regional School Board, with support from the city’s Town Hall. In the last<br />
edition (2022), the fair had over 1.2 thousand participants scattered across 197<br />
science clubs from several schools within <strong>São</strong> <strong>Carlos</strong> & region. The projects and<br />
experiments were a part of the National Science and Tech Week.<br />
