The programme is comprehensive and includes the following<br />
activities:<br />
a) Individual and group psychological and psychotherapeutic<br />
assi<strong>st</strong>ance focusing on a supportive expressive<br />
technique in order to alleviate current psychological<br />
anxiety. Every week there are two colleagues on Fridays<br />
from 10.00 to 14.00 h, a psychiatri<strong>st</strong> and a therapi<strong>st</strong>.<br />
They are visited by applicants for interviews whose value<br />
is therapeutic and diagno<strong>st</strong>ic because they also determine<br />
the diagnosis and the relevant psychiatric treatment<br />
or refer the patients to the competent in<strong>st</strong>itution<br />
or clinic. Every week there are also team meetings with<br />
experts from Asylum Centre during which we discuss the<br />
manners of working with applicants and elaborate common<br />
plans with individuals.<br />
b) Organisation and management of therapeutic workshops<br />
for counselling and education or training. These<br />
include the identification of <strong>st</strong>ress, workshops on communication,<br />
parenthood, personal hygiene, contagious<br />
diseases, AIDS…<br />

c) Kindergarten programme: focused on socialisation of<br />
children and learninh a foreign language – Slovene language.<br />
The programme runs from Monday to Friday - 15.00 do<br />
17.00 h – covering the following areas:<br />
— Arti<strong>st</strong>ic expression and development of child’s creativity<br />
and innovation through dancing, arts, music and theatre<br />
— Psycho-motor aspects – exercising in the playground<br />
and kindergarten room<br />
— Slovene language expression through words: reading<br />
<strong>st</strong>ories, learning poems, telling <strong>st</strong>ories, use of the literal<br />
Slovene language in all activities<br />
— Work with family: parents are also integrated in a special<br />
way because they can be reached so that they can<br />
visit their children. This creates a warm atmosphere for<br />
talks and discussions about their upbringing and solving<br />
the dilemmas.<br />
The programme includes also spending holidays once a year<br />
in summer together with the parents.<br />

Zovem se Badraa. Prezivam se Tseren. Dolazim iz<br />
Mongolije ali sada živim u Sloveniji u Ljubljani. Star<br />
sam 40 godina. Moja adresa je Ce<strong>st</strong>a v Gorice 15. Ponedjeljak<br />
ujutro u pola sedam dižem se i oblačim,<br />
15 minuta do osam idem u kupaonicu i tamo se tuširam,<br />
operem i obrišem. U osam idem u trpe<strong>za</strong>riju<br />
gdje je doručak. Poslije podne malo se odmaram i<br />
gledam televiziju. Poslije podne u jedan idem na tečaj<br />
i učim. U pola tri idem u sobu a onda u centar<br />
gdje vozim biciklu i gledam. U pet sati dolazim kući,<br />
onda u pola še<strong>st</strong> jedem večeru a petnae<strong>st</strong> minuta do<br />
še<strong>st</strong> idem u sobu. Na večer u sobi radim na kompjuteru<br />
ili čitam knjigu. U devet idem u kino. U jedanae<strong>st</strong><br />
idem u kupatilo, onda se umijem, obrišem i u pola<br />
dvanae<strong>st</strong> odem na spavanje a poslije toga sanjam…<br />

On Monday morning at six thirty I go to the bathroom,<br />
take a shower, wash myself and dry. At eight<br />
I go to the dining room where I have my breakfa<strong>st</strong>.<br />
In the afternoon I re<strong>st</strong> a little and watch television.<br />
In the afternoon at one o’clock I attend courses<br />
and learn. At two thirty I go to my room and then<br />
to the centre where I ride my bicycle. At five I come<br />
home and then at five thirty I have my supper and<br />
at fifteen to six I return to my room. In the evening<br />
I work on my computer or read books. At nine I go<br />
to cinema. At eleven I go to the bathroom and wash<br />
up. At eleven thirty I go to bed and then I dream…
