From pub car park cross road and turn R andimmediate L onto track. Pass under small bridge,formerly part of Llanfynydd railway station.Cont<strong>in</strong>ue ahead where track splits and walkbetween redbrick house and former mill. Crossstile and cont<strong>in</strong>ue across paddock. Crossfootbridge and next stile <strong>in</strong>to field. Walkdiagonally R across field to cross stile <strong>in</strong> wall.Follow RH fence across next field. Cross stile andriver then follow path along LH field edge aboveriver. Just before gate and bridge go thro' gap <strong>in</strong>fence on R, follow<strong>in</strong>g natural path above river,cross<strong>in</strong>g stile. At end of path turn L along a track.2. Where track bears L to Hafod-abley, takesigned path on R through small gate and followLH field edge. Over stile and footbridge and climbuphill along RH field edge (can be overgrown andboggy). At corner of field turn L and follow RHfield edge to stile onto lane. Turn R for about200m to T junction. Turn L along lane, slowlyclimb<strong>in</strong>g for approx 500m.3. Where lane bends L take wide track on R.Cross gate/stile and cont<strong>in</strong>ue along track.4. Just beyond pond on L take L fork uphill onm<strong>in</strong>or path. At track turn L and follow LHboundary uphill to stile and gap. Turn R ontopath and follow RH fencel<strong>in</strong>e to woodland edge.Cross stile and follow narrow natural meander<strong>in</strong>gpath through woodland. Cont<strong>in</strong>ue ahead wherepath jo<strong>in</strong>s larger track (or detour R up trackto trig po<strong>in</strong>t for superb view), graduallydescend<strong>in</strong>g hillside.5. Where path meets wide track at bottom of hill,turn R then L after 15m.Cont<strong>in</strong>ue downhill onsmall natural path, pass<strong>in</strong>g pond on R. Cont<strong>in</strong>ue
