ARMADA ALE
Bitter – 4,5% vol.
In 1988 the National Maritime
Museum Greenwich London commissioned
Harveys to brew a 400th anniversary
beer in celebration of the defeat
of the Spanish Armada – many of
the ships were sunk off the Sussex
coast. Tangy hop aroma, rich malt and
hops in the mouth, well-balanced
finish with pronounced fruitiness, a
fuller ale to complement the Sussex
Best Bitter.
HARVEYS PORTER
Porter – 4,8% vol.
A porter recipe of 1859 from the
brewery’s brewing journals and faithfully
reproduced using pale ale malt,
crystal malt, black malts and locally
grown hops. Roasted malts combine
with liquorice and coffee notes in the
mouth lasting in a smooth bitter
finish. Porter at its very best!
St. Austell of St. Austell
Cornwall
TRIBUTE ALE
Bitter – 4,2% vol.
Pale amber bitter with a rich citrus
aroma, light malt on the tongue but
with a fresh orange, grapefruit, taste
from tangy Fuggles, Styrian,
Williamette hops. The Ale of Cornwall!
PROPER JOB
India Pale Ale – 4,5% vol.
Golden coloured with a pine resin
aroma combines with a powerfully
hoppy taste from the use of
Williamette, Cascade and Chinook
hops.
ADMIRALS ALE
Premium Bitter/ESB – 5,0% vol.
Admirals Ale voted Supreme
Champion for this bottled beer in 2008
International Beer Challenge and now,
especially, available from Charlie’s for
you to try on cask at this festival. Deep
bronze colour with a rich malty flavour
and a wonderfully spicy hoppy taste
from the use of Styrian Goldings and
Cascade hops.
HSD
Premium Bitter/ESB – 5,0% vol.
HSD is the brewery’s legendary
strong Cornish brown ale. Dark ruby
colour, strong raisin and caramel taste,
very fruity- bitter finish from the use
of Fuggles and Goldings hops. Known
locally as “High Speed Diesel” but real
name is in honour of the brewery’s
founder Walter Hicks: Hicks Special
Draught.

GEORGE GALE’S PRIZE OLD ALE
Ole Ale – 9,0%
Original Cask 2005 as rare as “rocking-horse
shit” classic English Old Ale
“rescued” from the closed down Gales
Hampshire Brewery 2005 and only normally,
but rarely, found in old corked
bottles, or now brewed by Fuller’s of
London in normal bottles without this
provenance. In all honesty, we don’t
know what it’s going to taste like (not
the rocking horse we hope...)... but try
it and see!!??
FULLERS VINTAGE ALE
English Strong Ale – 9,0% vol.
Original Cask 2008 again a very rare
one-off cask of the 2008 vintage; it
should be wonderful...try it and see!!??
Hope you enjoy our selection because
our cask ales should be the greatest
beer drinking pleasure in the entire
world - well “probably”!!!

Kult på festivalen
Ølklubben Sirius - som blev stiftet i
sidste årtusinde – har til formål at
udbrede kendskabet til og fremme
konsumeringen af kvalitetsøl på
Fristaden Christiania.
Klubben er kendt for det varme øl,
der er blevet serveret på Julemarkedet
i den Grå Hal siden oldtiden, og siden
hen på klubbens stand til samtlige
danske ølfestivaler. – Også i år og
